Mummy's a tree recorded their sixth studio album in Berlin's Hansa studio "by the
wall". The spiritual presence of famous musicians that pre-ceded them (David Bowie,
U2, Depeche Mode) and a production team consisting of Gordon Raphael (The Strokes,
Regina Spektor) and Daniel Benyamin (Sea + Air a.o.) gave the band the boost
necessary for a new instalment: a New Song. The band calls it a record of hope.

Former Sea + Air singer/writer Daniel Benyamin' s debut album. The multi-instrumental
joy of playing music combined with the cinematic songwriting with which he created
the term "Ghost Pop" and indie hits like "The Heart Of The Rainbow" or "Do Animals
Cry?" are developed to their next level on this record. Daniel Benyamin's strength
is an extraordinary singing voice and a unique composing craft that combines
classical compositions with catchy, atmospheric anthems. Daniel Benyamin and his
longtime collaborator Zar Monta Cola are both playing multiple instruments at the
same time in an unusual artistic way. This way they create a dynamic full band
sound, energetic and atmospheric alike.

Cycles is the latest album of work by Irish composer Jules Maxwell whose music
has featured at London's National Theatre, The Royal Opera House, Shakespeare's
Globe Theatre and The Roundhouse. Cycles is an exquisite album of meditative
instrumental music. It is quiet and circular in nature but deeply atmospheric
and dramatic at moments. Cycles will be released on Friday 25th March on Berlin
based label Ghost Palace. A limited double vinyl edition will also be available
featuring the Cycles album and its predecessor Nocturnes. Most recently he has
been working with the band Dead Can Dance and in 2021 he released an album
entitled Burn with singer Lisa Gerrard.
